
Suburban GO RED Success
Volunteer committee members of this year’s American Heart Association 2010 GO RED for Women Suburban Luncheon-Kane/DuPage counties celebrated the successful event held at the Naperville Hilton.
The committee, chaired by Pat Szpekowski of PmS advertising, inc. in Carpentersville, established a new tradition to raise funds and awareness for heart disease in women. A Pursonality Auction was held which included 20 purses filled with theme merchandise such as gardening, travel, beauty, and wine, to name a few, all donated by each of the committee members. The entire event raised over $90,000 for the GO RED movement, a substantial increase over previous events. (read more...)
Daniels Plows product catalog receives honors
The Illinois Woman’s Press Association (IWPA), an affiliate of the National Federation of Press Women (NFPW), recognized Pat Szpekowski, APR, President of PmS advertising, inc. in Carpentersville at the IWPA Mate E. Palmer Communications Contest Luncheon held at the Union League Club on May 15, 2010 in Chicago.
Szpekowski was honored with a first place award for the Daniel Plows catalog and two second place awards in the public relations-news release for the Prairie Valley YMCA of Elgin Activate Elgin project and the four color Provena Saint Joseph Hospital newsletter. (read more...)
Fideliters Camelot charity ball no jest
As we entered the ballroom at the Prairie Lodge in Sun City Huntley, it was quite evident that a great deal of thought went into planning this event.
It was a magical evening at "Camelot" for the 121st annual Fideliter Charity Ball held Nov. 21. The theme, chosen by ball Chair Pat Szpekowski of PmS Advertising Inc., exuded all the charm and magic of King Arthur's Court, where beauty, harmony and goodness prevail. Pat, her husband Dan and the Wizard Merlin welcomed guests who entered through a 12-foot-tall "castle" on their way into the beautifully decorated ballroom. (read more...)

Szpekowski Elected to Leadership Role
Pat Szpekowski, APR, a resident of Algonquin, and president of PmS advertising, inc. in Carpentersville, has been elected by members of the PRSA Suburban Chicagoland Chapter to the President-Elect position for 2004 after serving as Secretary in 2003.
